BNG Retains its Position as One of the World's Highest Rated Banks Following S&P Publication

The potential of a more protracted downturn in The Netherlands and the wider Eurozone affects Standard & Poor's economic risk score for the whole Dutch banking industry. For this reason S&P wants to reassess the long-term counterparty credit rating on BNG. Pending the outcome of this assessment, S&P has placed BNG's AAA rating on 'creditwatch negative'. In addition to S&P's AAA rating BNG is rated Aaa by Moody's and AAA by Fitch, confirming BNG's position as one of the world's highest rated banks.
